Sean Redmond flies to Singapore this week and will meet with a number of organisations to discuss his journey with fear, anxiety and panic attacks. "There are financial and operational impacts for an organisation when people within the business do not fully contribute because they are influenced by these challenging states" Sean said.
"More and more companies are realising that taking an holisitic view of employee wellbeing actually makes good business sense. Speaking with employees and providing effective strategies for managing these issues, can make a significant difference to health - health of the individual and health of the company" he added.
"Obviously there is a very real need in Australia to continue to raise awareness on these aspects of our health, and as I share about my journey, the lies I lived (and told) to hide my real battle, it empowers others to say 'I've had enough of the lie' and this is a powerful outcome, showing inspirational leadership". Sean knows that he did not effectively balance the many aspects to his life and this contributed to continually experiencing attacks, and he deals with this issue as he shares with others.
Sean speaks, coaches and facilitates programs across all industries to many different groups and demographics and says that it is 'an honour to speak about this and to know that lives are changed'. It has been said that whilst speaking to many, 'it was as though he was speaking just to me'.
